Rumour now circulating says Chief Justice was briefed by powerful quarters about three verdicts that Supreme Court is to deliver today.
Interestingly, Barriseter Shaheb was not there, sources said.

SC adjourns hearing on appeals against Hasina till Sept 26
The Supreme Court Thursday heard two government appeals against bail awarded to Sheikh Hasina in two separate extortion cases brought by businessmen Noor Ali and Azam Jahangir Chowdhury Thursday morning and adjourned the hearing till Sept 26.
The court also heard the government appeal Thursday against the High Court stay order on the Anticorruption Committee notice on Hasina for submission of her wealth statement.
A full bench of the Appellate Division heard the appeals, which the government filed Wednesday.
